Homemade Lip Scrub

During winter  we really need to take care of not only our skin but we also need to pay attention to our lips which tend to dry and crack during this season; who are you best allies for this season? Lip balms and Lips Scrubs.

The first product  is going to keep our lips hydrate and moisturized while the lip scrub will  get rid of any dead cell and impurity that your lips may have, so if you think about it you’re just exfoliating your lips.  That’s why, I’d recommend you using a lip scrub two times a week tops, you don’t wanna hurt your lips.

Having said that, on today’s entry I’ll show you some homemade lips scrub that will keep your lips super smooth.

Brown Sugar, Honey and Vanilla Lip Scrub:

Honey and sugar

Ingredients you need:

  • 2 tps brown sugar
  • 1/8 tps vanilla extrac
  • 1- 1 1/2 tps coconut oil
  • A small container

Add the coconut oil into the container and add the sugar while mixing it. After that just add the vanilla and if you think the mix is a bit dry you can add a little bit more of  coconut oil.

Brown Sugar and White Sugar Lip Scrub

coco and ho

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 tps of white sugar
  • 1 tps of brown sugar
  • 1/4 tps of olive oil ( coconut oil)
  • 1 tps of honey
  • A small container.

Again, just mix all the ingredients until you get a nice paste out of all the ingredients.

White Sugar and Lemon Lips Scrub

Lemon and sea salt

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 tps of honey
  • 1-1 1/2 tps of white sugar
  • 1 tps of coconut oil
  • A few lemon drops…just the amount enough

Mix the ingredients until creating a paste like you did on the other two.

Guys, before applying the scrub directly into your lips do a quick test in your arm just so you don’t have any allergic reaction or any other effect.

As always, hope you find this useful and see you soon.

Until next time,

Selene
