Being back in Korea, gives me the opportunity to try these amazing products that one can find in this country, that’s why I tried the Bamboo Charcoal Mud Pack from Nature Republic.
For starters this Bamboo Charcoal Mud Pack is a wash off typed mask and it’s supposed to absorb dirt and oil that will reduce pore and blackheads. The container has 150g which is quite okay for the prices which is around six dollars.
Now, the first thing you notice is that it’s not as easy to get the product as one might expect it and maybe it is because it’s mud so you have to squeeze a bit hard to get the product, once you get it out it it’s easy to apply it to your face and the scent is not that bad, actually it is very refreshing.
Once you’ve applied it to your face you’re supposed to wait 10 minutes until the mud gets dry, and maybe it’s just me but if I spend more than 10 minutes with the mask, my face starts burning a little bit…so just in case remove after 10 minutes even if it’s not entirely dry which normally doesn’t happen.
After washing it off, unlike others masks I’ve tried the effect on my skin wasn’t as obvios or as notorious as I would have expected, however my skin did feel refreshed.
The Bamboo Charcoal Mud Pack is definitely not what I expected, would I use it again? Yes, just cause I felt my skin refreshed but I wouldn’t use it if I want something that takes care of blackheads.
Until next time,
