#MakingHistory – Under Pressure, 1981

Hey there!

So, for all you music lovers out there, this entry in particular is about one of the most famous and well done collaborations of all times. (Yes, I went there.)

I’m talking about David Bowie and Queen’s collaboration for the 1981 hit record “Under Pressure”.

The fun fact about this recording,  is that, it all started with that now well known three note bass riff at the beginning of the song, which by the way, the bassist John Deacon forgot for a while. The lyrics were written by David Bowie and Freddy Mercury in just one day, which makes this song even greater.

Let’s remember what deserves to be remember and never forgotten, let’s face it, now a days collaborations like this happen once in a blue moon.
