Foo Fighters released its new music video for the first single “Something From Nothing” of their new album Sonic Highways (8th album for the band) which will be available starting November 10th.
This single was debuted live for the first time during Foo Fighters “one week residence” at the Late Show with David Letterman.
With “Something From Nothing”, we can here a well known sound by the Foo; this single has old school rock and it also approaches from time to time some funk beats and let’s not mention the wildness in the guitars creating that energetic vibe during the whole song. Also it’s not a surprise to hear Dave Grohl’s vocal potential with every note he sings.
The song was recorded in Chicago with producer Steve Albini, however, Sonic Highways was recored across the U.S., actually the making was documented through an HBO series. This album will also count with collaboration from artist such as Ben Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie), Preservation Hall Jazz Band to name a few.
As the saying goes…so far so good.
